In 2016 I decided to do a solo project and make a game called, 'Runner Beats' for my final major project at university. Runner beats is a fusion of ‘Guitar Hero’ and ‘Subway Surfers’ where your aim is to guide the main character into collecting ‘sound orbs’ by hitting buttons to the cue of the music, creating a sequence of movements and events on the track the character grinds on.
The player gains points by accurately matching timed cues as they appear on the screen and completing key commends for special fighting moves.
